Bidra med feedbackWe arrived at 5:45 for a 7:00 clock show and that was just enough time. I saw that many people came after we had made it and were quite upset how long it took to get their food before the show. our waiter was very nice and helpful. we ordered drinks, appetizers and main courses. it took a while to get our drinks to the table. our appetizers - a melon dish with goat cheese and spicy cauliflower - were really prepared. my lobster sandwich was in order; taste of the lobster was somehow lost in preparation. my wife really enjoyed her creole garnel dish. I noticed that the personal seemed rather hectic, as the showtime came closer. Maybe, based on some of the other reviews I've read, they need more help during this hurry time. if they do not want to feel before the show, they will come to and reserve it early.
We had both the short rib sandwich and the walleye sandwich. Both were bland and mushy. Walleye sandwich in Minnesota means a fillet, not tasteless bread crumbs mixed with some fish flakes on a large dry bun. The menu was lacking anything like a fresh fruit plate. No vegetables, and all seemed to be served with fries. nWe have enjoyed Level Five Cafe for the convenience before a show. This is the most disappointing meal we’ve ever had there. New chef, PLEASE.

First, we called twice and left our name but they did not have our reservation. The host said they had been having some problems. Nevertheless we were seated 90 minutes before the play. The cocktail, the Sister Sarah, was great. Everything went downhill from there. The side salad was a stack of only lettuce will soggy croutons. It took over an hour to get two sandwiches. The walleye burger was terrible. The bun was rock hard and dry. The burger consisted almost entirely of bread crumbs with finely shredded fish. No seasoning. It was like eating mushy bread on dry bread. The fries were cold. I complained to the waitress and host with the only explanation that they were busy. A restaurant in a theater needs to be able to able to serve a salad and two sandwiches in less than 90 minutes.
All the restaurants around were full so we came here before a show. There was a big piece of plastic wrap in one of our salads AND the salads (two of us in our group of five had salads) were pretty rotten (lettuce was turning yellow even BROWN). Ravioli was ok, mac n cheese was decent, pork sandwich was good. We complained to the waiter (good service) and we were directed to the manager. She got us all free drinks and gave us the rotten salads for free. She then came by to let us know that it was “Yellow Kale†as in that is a “type†of kale. Upon googling this, we found that yellow Kale does not exist. Good place to go if you’re desperate for food!
