Jamba - Minneapolis

The service was extremely slow and unprofessional. I waited 15 minutes, which caused me to be late for class, while the customers behind me received their orders. I observed two employees spending an excessive amount of time seemingly training each other on how to make my smoothie. When they finally blended it, no one remembered to serve it until I politely asked them to pour it for me.

I had a great experience at this Jamba Juice located inside Coffman. You can use your meal plan dining credit by presenting your U card to purchase anything here. The staff consists of students, and there are many comfortable seating options nearby where you can relax and enjoy your drink during a study break, while preparing for an exam, during group discussions, or even after a nap.

The food is amazing, but the staff often appear confused and unsure of their tasks. Even though there are typically four or five employees on duty, it feels like only one person is handling the shakes and other drinks. I had to wait 20 minutes for my drink, which is way too long. This Jamba Juice needs to establish a better system to improve efficiency, as the current arrangement seems to leave everyone a bit overwhelmed.

Ah, the Jamba Juice at CMU! It's still around nine years after I graduated. Today, I parked with valet service on Fulton Street and walked over to get a smoothie at 2 PM (12/19/19) since I had some time to spare before my doctor's appointment. Unfortunately, Jamba Juice was closed, and there was no notice posted. I understand it could be winter break or finals week, which can cause schedule changes, but it’s still disappointing. I remember it closing unexpectedly during my time as a student too.
