Hy-vee Market Grille Express

Just to clarify, this review pertains solely to the Asian takeout and not the grocery store or pharmacy. If good food is truly crafted with love, then this meal felt like it was made with intense disdain. After a long day, we decided to grab some takeout while picking up prescriptions, thinking it would be a convenient choice. We arrived at 6:30, but the staff seemed to be in closing mode and appeared irritated that we wanted to place an order. When I asked for a specific topping and rice, I was practically yelled at to choose a different one.

This place is $100 cheaper than Lunds, which is a big plus. However, they could use a wider selection of organic eggs and improve their homemade bread. I personally wouldn’t choose Lunds again. Additionally, offering cleaner meats would make a difference; I’d be willing to spend more if the quality of the meats was better. Overall, I really like Hy-Vee, but I can't say the same for Lunds.

This store is convenient and smaller than other Hy-Vees in the area, which means it doesn't have as wide a selection of products. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, but there are a few who have been rude on several occasions. I recommend checking the dates on baby food, as I found several expired items during my recent visit, including one that was six months past its expiration date.

This location has an extensive Meat Department, and Seafood selection! The availability of such a variety of Grill Ready items in one location is a major factor for me! Staff was both helpful, and efficient. This store was busy, but well staffed. This allowed for a pleasant shopping experience. We were shopping as a group, and were able to find a nice variety of items for our Cookout . Traveling as often as I do, and cooking on the the Grill in Hotel Parking Lots multiple

This Hy-Vee was a little rough when it first opened but the management team staff seems to have done a good job in turning it into a nice place to shop. The deli options are very extensive and good quality. The only reason I give this Hy-Vee 4 of 5 stars is due to its size. The store is much smaller then a normal Hy-Vee so they aren?t able to carry everything you would expect at a Hy-Vee simply due to its limited size.
