Royal Taco Mexican Food - Milpitas

Entered this place at lunch hour, it wasn't that busy and there are plenty of seats. This is bad for groups though because all the tables and seats are permanent, seating up to four people. I ordered a steak superior burrito. When I got it I couldn't help but laugh at the way it was rolled (see pic attached). It had little meat and plenty of tortilla, rice and beans. Paying $8 for a burrito, you expect a decent meal. I did not receive one. The burrito also came with a small amount of chips- it was stale. The good? I was full with all the carbs I ate.

Back in the day I used to frequent this place quite ofetn as I worked nearby. I haven 't been in a whil but had a $5 off purchase of $20 coupon and was in the area so thought I would give it a try. I orderd the taco/enchilada combo plate and my buddy ordered the camarones cocktail. Combo plate $9.50 was ok. Ground beef, hard shell taco and a pretty small chicken enchilada with rice/beans. Sauces were really watery and not much differnce between the red and green I tried. The camarones cocktail $17.95! was not worth the price. There were about 7 tiny shrimp! Pretty sure the price was jacked up due to the $5 off coupon!. I 'll never go back.....

I've been to this restaurant twice I love it. The food is always great healthy. I usually get the devil shrimp w flour tortillas . . Hmmm supper tasty n my bf gets fish tacos Get excellent food for your totally recommend Plus the place is supper clean

I've been coming to Royal Taco since they were ion North Capitol and McKee, decades ago. My biggest complaint here isThe Salsa and avocado are ridiculously watered down so they don't add much flavor to your dish and don't stay on your chip or taquitos--need salt too. My new favorite Taqueria in the area is Taqueria Chingada on Sierra @Piedmont. Great salsas! Great flavors.

Mexican food, made by Mexicans, I expected a lot more. This was a big disappointment. I got the veggie burrito, there was no flavor, nothing, seemed like a left over rice and lettuce burrito. Salsa side was also not that good, it was mainly watered down salsa, under seasoned. I wish they add some flavor to their foods!
