Pier 8 Cafe - MILLERS POINT

I'm only giving this cafe 3 stars because of the locationIf it was right on the water, I'd only give it 2.

I just happened upon this cafe accidentally as I was going via Barangaroo and the NAIDOC festival.

Unimpressed. Unless you will enjoy an ice latte for that is full of milk, keep away!

Real rating: Overall I think their cakes looks better than they taste. We got really intrigued by their cakes when we were walking by, however they were too sweet and not that rich in flavour. Chai latte was quite good though, it has a very strong spice aftertaste.

Ate here for breakfast a few days ago. Great location on the wharf and I loved the fit out. The staff were friendly and took our order quickly. Our drinks came out surprisingly fast which was nice. The breakfasts were pretty bland and average and at $22 each I was hoping for a lot more. They also brought out the completely wrong dish twice so we were waiting quite a long time. Probably better for coffee and drinks rather than food
