Bidra med feedbackI was disappointed on several fronts during my recent visit. This restaurant used to be quite good, but that was not my experience this time. We ordered over $56 worth of food to-go, but to my surprise, there was no dipping sauce included for the gyoza. All three of our entrees were combination plates that featured gyoza, and I even ordered an extra side of it—still no dipping sauce! Additionally, we had to pay extra for spicy sauce and even for the bag to carry our order. Utensils were not provided either. I understand that restaurants may need to cut costs due to inflation, but this was excessive, especially considering how much we spent. At least we didn't have to pay for the containers! It felt like the owners were being particularly stingy. Moreover, the sauce provided was overwhelmingly strong and not enjoyable. My son didn't even want to eat his meal. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
The food was incredible, and the service was even more impressive. The atmosphere in the restaurant is peaceful and inviting, and you can tell they take great care and pride in the presentation of their dishes.
The chicken was crispy and cooked just right. The spicy chicken had a flavor rating of 3 out of 5, which I consider a nice balance. The prices are in line with those of nearby restaurants. Overall, it's solid, standard teriyaki.
Very cute nook, seating kind of on the cramped side though and I got single shamed a little (I 'm just a nerd with no time to eat with people). Excellent chicken katsu though! Yum yum, right next to work.
My granddaughter suggested we try this restaurant, so we ordered the Teriyaki chicken. It came with two servings of white rice and a basic green salad. I'm not sure what the salad dressing is, but it's absolutely delicious and pairs well with the dish. Everything tasted fantastic and was very affordable. Plus, the portions were extra large!
