I visited Tim Hortons and noticed that they were understaffed, but they did a great job at taking our order quickly and efficiently. I will definitely be returning - keep up the good work!
I don't eat tim hortons food, but my partner occasionally likes a roasted bagel. a number of weeks back at 9 in the evening we go through the drive thru, they take forever, although its only two people work and no one in the. drive them thru out of us, as we wait, it begins to secure more and more. they had to go to get cream cheese, sit on the running gear thru window watching the guy make the bagel with his gloves on wiping his hands on his pants, which already have many previous wipes on them....Super super rough and not food safe friendly. Now, they hardly tapped the bagel and hardly put the cream on it when they called it, it was for them to a big wall to repair because they had to get more cream cheese and at this place they feel like you holding the 10 plus deep vehicles in the car ride thru. what a waste of money. for just a tee and a fiess bagel. definitiw recommends dont eat. sometimes they block the lobby randomly and mcdonalds locks their baths, so if they either go to the bush behind the bank or go over and try the refueling station.
Ah, Tim Hortons! This chain is very much a national icon and treasure and has gained an international reputation since its founding back in 1964. Famous for its donuts and coffee, the chain has offered Canadians and travelers alike a decent low cost snack treat...option for many a decade. The Mill Bay location has upheld such a time honoured and tried tradition. As others have said, this location is a popular pit stop for those traveling to and from Victoria via the Malahat. Indeed, that’s why my partner and I stopped by here en route to our home: We needed to refuel on snack treats and delectable goodness. My partner got a nice steeped tea; I had a traditional ice cap (made with chocolate milk); and we got a box of donuts to go. My ice cap was delicious – rich and creamy. I was happy that this location made it right. Lately, whenever I’ve ordered an ice cap from other Tim Hortons locations, they’ve been overly loose, which they shouldn’t be. And the donuts? They were very good – tasted nice and fresh! Overall, I enjoyed our quick stop at this location. The premises were very clean and the donut/pastry display was well stocked. Easily one of the better Tims I’ve been to! FOOD: 4/5 SERVICE: 4/5 VALUE: 5/5 RECOMMENDATION: If there’s one thing I’ve learned about chains like Tim Hortons, it’s that quality can and does vary from location to location. I’ve been to some Tims locations that were atrocious (Terrace); some that were OK (Charlottetown); and many that’ve been very good to excellent. The Mill Bay location definitely falls into the latter category. The staff were quick, the donuts were fresh, and most important – at least to me – my ice cap was made properly! Thumbs up!
Typical Tim Horton's; crappy coffee, mediocre doughnuts, food that tastes like you're in the hospital.
