Discover Milford Sound Information Centre Cafe

This café provides useful information and has a really friendly staff. It's a great spot to park your car if you're heading out on a boat tour, though parking costs $10 per hour. During opening hours, you can grab drinks and snacks from the cabinet, but the kitchen, featuring a chalkboard menu, operates from 11 AM to 3 PM. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegetarian options available. It's a relaxed place to warm up and enjoy a snack in a breathtaking location.

A journey to a heavenly experience! The cruise was absolutely perfect. We started our adventure on a beautiful, sunny morning surrounded by the cascading waterfalls and breathtaking cliffs of the fiord. The cruise takes you out to the open Tasman Sea at the mouth of the fiord before heading back to the wharf. I highly recommend this thrilling and unforgettable experience!

It's great to have this unique café in Milford Sound. I can grab a coffee and unwind after dropping off my friends for their cruise. They offer snacks and even lunch, with the kitchen serving burgers and pizza.

Cosy place with great coffee and hot food. Not to mention plenty of information for other activities besides cruise. Place provides free water and public toilet. We had our lunch here with the savings parking at Deepwater Basin parking and 30 minute walk over here. We manage to see wildlife at the car parking area and even visitors taking close up pictures with them.

We all know this place is amazing. Here are a few things that we should know while visiting this place... Plenty of Paid Parking is available at $25 for 5 hours. Its a 10 minute walk from the car park to the cruise terminal. You can drive down all the way to the terminal if you have kids or elderly people but you can't park there.. only buses are allowed. Drop off others right outside the terminal and drive back to the car park and you do the walk yourself. We booked with mitre peak cruise and only had complimentary coffee on board. No snacks... your only option for food/ snacks is at the Cafe near the terminal. All the food we tried at the cafe tasted good. There are restrooms available both inside and outside the cafe/information center as well as in the cruise terminal. There is a petrol pump/ servo for petrol and diesel.
