Walnut Beach Pizza Subs - Milford

I took a while to try this place out, and I kept forgetting about it. No one I knew had been there, so I decided to give it a shot and ordered a pizza and a cold Caprese sub. Unfortunately, the sub was pretty bland; it lacked enough cheese and seasoning—definitely needed more balsamic or pesto to add flavor. The pizza was very thin and slightly burnt, and the taste was just okay, lacking something special. I probably wouldn't order from here again, as I can't afford to waste food. However, I might give it another try, specifically asking for the pizza to be less well-done and choosing a different sub. Honestly, I’d probably go for Colony Grille instead, especially for their amazing salad pizza!

This dish was essentially an overpriced English muffin pizza topped with diluted Prego sauce.

I had a really disappointing experience. The pizza was ice cold and lacked flavor, while the garlic knots were drenched in grease and didn’t come with any sauce. The chicken parm grinder was burnt, rendering the bread inedible. I'm hoping this was just a one-time mishap since this place has excellent reviews. I'll give it another chance because I want to support local businesses, and I hope my next visit will be better.

This is by far the best pizza in Milford..I know everybody raves about pappas but honestly this place blows them out of the water. Pizza is absolutely delicious..perfect crust,sauce and just the right amount of cheese and guess what every time I order its ready in 20 minutes. This is the new hidden gem of walnut beach !!!

I'm a New Yorker and this is the only pizza I allow my family to eat in CT- never had a bad pie here. Their pizza is consistent and chicken parm sub was huge and delicious! We LOVE this pizza and the super friendly people who run the place. Pretty outdoor seating, close to the beach, always a warm welcome.
