Montana's Rib Chop House, Miles City

We had been told by several people to eat here. After reading the Yelp reviews one person in our party ordered the Ribs. The other 2 got the Rib Eye Steak. We shared the fried green tomatoes. They were the best I have ever had. Drinks were cold and good. Steaks were perfect. But.... The Ribs were the worst we have ever seen. They were over cooked, dry so charred on the outside it was like biting into charcoal. Our server got a new order and they were just as bad. The complete meal for that person was comped but no one other than the server apologized to us. We will be back but will never order the ribs again. Btw the person who got the bad meal was an out of state visitor. It did not make his impression of Montana rise very high.

Best steakhouse in the country. Beats Ruth Chris, Morton's, and any other fancy steak house in the country. Good service and a reasonable price.

This restaurant has amazing food and service. It would get 5 stars other than they need some noise dampening on the walls. It isn't a place for quite dining. The steaks, desserts, gumbo, ribs, same pretty much everything else on the menu is delicious.

Don't show up at 9:45pm, you get a steak cooked to jerky, and a cold potato
