Bidra med feedbackThis is My Bar ! Every time I am in Milano I will visit Alvin 's daily In the morning for my caffe , at midday for my aperitivo and, both stops is to chat with the personnel that makes me feeling welcome in my yearly (or less) visit. My home away from home!
I write because I read negative comments and I attend the club for years sincerely do not understand. the place is beautiful, good service, kind staff. excellent pastry, prices in relation to quality are normal. If someone wants to spend less, just change the premises without unnecessary evaluations.
Certainly not the only good bar with bakery in Milano, but certainly it is worth trying, possibly coming back for their croissants a so much more, mostly prepared with natural yeast. Unique in texture, recognizable among many, if you have the taste for fine proofing/baking skills. Well done Mr Roffia Lucky me, I only have to walk here in the morning for an espresso and some freshly baked croissants while reading newspaper, when I'm in town. Sure on top of my list of places to visit when back to Milano.
Great for lunch out of the office or just passing by. Short menu of daily dishes but the food is tasted and pleasantly presented. The smoked swordfish salad was a delight. Even the hamburger tasted great. Very good value. Pleasant staff. The selection sweets and mini cakes etc are simply as fabulous to eat as they look. Try the lobster tail aka stogliatella and see if you only want one. Worth a repeat visit for sure.
Sweet, but most of the time is good. even if I do not believe I have seen in the mignones neither caviar nor lobster, but simple pastry cream. questionable the cream croissant to 2,70 euros; Crazy is like the return of the aperitif made: before it was expensive but all in all passive, while now it is an insult to human intelligence. two tarts ri-snatched and the drink not to know how much, that there is to call in strips the news, the blue phone and also greenpeace. eye to pull too much rope: pull the rope breaks!
