Mikado Tavern

A bit older, more rural place (due, it is in the north in rural environment). Had a Double Betty Burger, it was 12oz and hing 1 inch above the bungalow. Damn huge and fresh. It was great.

Good food. Cheap beer and drinks, but they close so damn early not expect to get a meal after 9

It was a nice stop after a wedding for a few drinks

Food was great had the prime rib sandwich and fry's basket . Took forever to get our meal . Looked at the grill they was using when I paid my bill and it was very small getting things done. We were a party of 4 . Three of got our fry's , then three got the sandwich after awhile one finally got her fry's and then the last one got her burger. We were visiting and not sure if this was normal. A party that came in after us got the meal they ordered on time. The host was the bar tender as she was busy!!! . Had to ask for our utensils after we got our meal . None was brought to us . Did not know what was going on in the Kitchen but that is we're it seems the problem was.

Mikado serves the best burgers. Been going here for over 30 years. Always a great meal.
