Sanborns - Miguel Hidalgo

I was in Sanborns a couple of times during my Mexico City stay both the branch across from Bellas Artes, and the one in the centre of Coyoacan. I found the service in the cafes friendly, efficient, and warmly hospitable. The servers dress in a traditional uniform, which is rather quirky and memorable. The cafes offered traditional Mexican fare, beautifully served. The experience reminded me of the classic US 1950s diner style. Sanborns would be a great place to take the family. The Coyoacan store had a lot more merchandise space, including departments for clothing, books, pharmacy and giftware, including souvenirs. In my travels around the city I passed many Sanborns locations clearly they are a fixture in Mexico City's retail landscape.

Buena atención de meseras muy amables, buena cocina de comida mexicana e internacional. De entrada la sopa especial de pollo con arroz, bien servida y excelente. de segundo la carne de res a la tampiqueña o las enchiladas suizas ( con muy poco picante y tradicionales). Los desayunos de calidad y el café excelente ( bastante cargado ). La cerveza bien helada.Salud.
