The Fuel - Midland

This is my favorite spot for lunch! Their açaí bowls are fantastic! I absolutely love the "Rankin Rendezvous" bowl, it is absolutely delicious! I appreciate that the staff knows me by name and has my order ready as soon as I walk in. They always strive to make sure my order is perfect, but even if it's not, it's still the best I've ever had! The staff is so kind, the restaurant is very clean, and every penny spent there is worth it! I highly recommend this place!

The smoothies are delicious, but when I inquired about the nutritional information, I was informed that they did not have it. I also asked about the calorie count, but was unable to receive that information as well. They indicated that there was a mix of various ingredients, but could not provide the exact quantities of each. This was disappointing for a place that emphasizes nutrition. I still visit occasionally, but I prefer Smoothie King because I can at least know the contents of my smoothie.

The coffee tasted weak and unpleasant. I found it disappointing that the manager dismissed my review as unwarranted, as I was simply sharing my dissatisfaction with the product. It reflects poorly on their professionalism. I shouldn't have to request a remake of something I already waited 15 minutes for. I would rather support local businesses that deliver better quality and value from the start.

Vegan burrito was cold; the tortilla was shiny, it was so soggy. No flavor at all, but I was full by the end of the meal. The vegan chicken salad was pretty good, onions in it were very over powering. The staff was friendly but should be coached on food safety/common sense. It?s great that there are vegan options available, but y?all definitely struck out.

Enjoyed my smoothie bowl. We sat outside on the little patio. It was super duper cold inside, which some people may enjoy. We will return.
