Saltgrass Steak House - Midland

Service was great! Food was amazing! And the ambiance was comforting. We have been to many different Saltgrass in Texas, this is one of the best. The steak was juicy and made to order. Management came to our table and asked how everything was. We told him it was amazing.

Well I haven't been to this place since I moved to Midland a year ago. I guess I should've made it longer. I had 2 VP from Houston and figured this would be the place to go well was I embarrassed. Food portion was certainly like a diet portion. Service was beyond slow and terrible. I ordered an ultra it took her over 30 minutes to bring. They drank 3/4 of a bottle before the beer showed. If you're hungry or thirsty don't go there!!

I don't understand the negative reviews, sure it's a chain and it's in Midland but the quality of food is awesome. From the beef to the bread it's scratch made. We were craving some burgers and they didn't disappoint. Perfectly cooked medium rare and full of flavor. Those house made buns hit the spot too. I had a basic cheese burger and she got the bbq burger. Both had great flavor and the portions were very generous. Don't sleep on the house made ranch, honey mustard and thousand island dressing. Goes great with your fries. Also Hannah, our server was phenomenal. Can't wait to go back.

Service was on the slow side. Also noticed the fries weren't fresh and hot. The ribs I ordered were good though.

The food was delicious. The service was awful. It took 20 minutes just to get water, even though we had three different servers come to our table.
