Bidra med feedbackNow, this place gave us what needed to be gave. It has that old school feel and the food just melts in your mouth! I’m a sucker for chicken fried steak, and they DID NOT disappoint
First off I want to say that the service was decent I was seated almost immediately, and Aubrey was moderately attentive, the issue I had was with the food, I got a chorizo burrito and it was a giant greasy mess, it tasted OK, but it was falling apart everywhere and it just really wasn’t all that satisfying.
Food was great, and the atmosphere was neat. I was taken back at how two meals and a soda was $40+ dollars then on top of that their tipping system was insane. The recommended tips were 30%, 40%, and 50%. It’s crazy asking someone to tip that much. Obviously you can customize it, but the fact that that’s what it’s set at is just crazy and didn’t sit right with me.
What an awesome find. We met up with some friends, looking for a spot for breakfast. Our original choice was closed so we diverted here. What a find! The chicken fried steak was excellent, as were the side dishes and pancakes. We will return next time we are in town.
On average you will pay $15 per plate and $6 for a burrito. They also charge a 4% credit/debit card processing fee. The food was just ok, nothing different from any other place. For two plates, and a burrito the ticket was over $60.00 for breakfast. The place has seen better days.
