Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant is a gem. We opted to sit outside due to the lovely weather, and it felt like we were in a different town altogether. Despite some construction in the vicinity, the service and food were outstanding. The bar area looks inviting and intimate, so we'll definitely be returning to explore that as well.
Our family of 4 found this place on a whim as we were driving home on a Friday night. In a seemingly residential area of Middletown, at first we were uncertain of what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised with the cozy-but-chic atmosphere. We loved the atmosphere so much we assumed the food would be unable to live up, but were again proven wrong when it did. My daughter had the best burger of her life with the Big Butch, my son LOVED the Jailhouse (he subbed the green goddess dressing for the Harrie 's Sauce) and my husband 's Huntsville Beef was voted best on the table. The fries were crispy and well seasoned and I 'd punch many of the people I love square in the face to eat more of their amazing Brussel sprouts. 100% put this place on your list of places to try. We will definately be back!
Top quality staff. The cocktails and food are superb. It's become my favorite place.
This was our first time visiting this restaurant. We had been intrigued to go when it was under different ownership due to the history of the place and the rumored sightings of a small girl at the actual poor house behind the restaurant. We never made it to the previous establishment due to the world shutdown, but we decided to give this one a try. When we arrived, we parked in the back and walked up to the front, assuming we would be given a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. However, there was a chalkboard directing us to proceed to the back for outdoor seating. It was early at 4:30, so we had the patio to ourselves. The bar was located in the basement, which my husband visited for the restroom. The menu mainly consisted of sandwiches, all of which sounded delicious and unique. My husband had to take half of his sandwich home as it was quite filling. The cocktails were made with simple syrup that was homemade, and my drink, The Roses, was fantastic. The atmosphere was casual yet atmospheric, and the location felt secluded and charming. The waitstaff was friendly and polite, and we definitely plan on returning to try more of their menu. Be sure to check out their menu online before you go.
I recently revisited Harrie's with some friends after going there a few weekends ago. I am so happy we decided to come back! We couldn't stop thinking about the food from our first visit. Everything from the drinks, food, staff, music, and atmosphere was excellent. I honestly can't remember having a better dining experience all year. The female staff working that night created a wonderful vibe throughout the evening. From the deviled eggs and burgers to the dessert, we had absolutely no complaints.
