Common Ground - Middleton

First time in this place as it currently works. Had coffee and sandwich. Barista is welcoming and helpful. Coffee is bright and vibrant. A pleasant and really surprising lunch. When I went in, came only for coffee, but quickly learned this place also has a menu with a nice selection of foods, but more suspiciously noticed that they also serve beer and drinks. Previous incarnations at this point were apparently not very successful as two separate taco restaurants and at least two previous bars. I was here once a year ago in the bar and didn't want to come back, and the first of the Taco bags were bad enough that I decided to come back completely. At this point I hope to call this place a regular stop.

Wonderful concept: Café, Restaurant, Bar, Shared room! Just what our city was missing. The decor is welcoming and charming. The owner is engaged and organized. The class list looks great. The food is delicious. My 11-year-old son said, “I can ride a bike and meet my friends to play and hang up games!” He warmed my heart.

I went to lunch today (and honestly, beer). The reubs were great and the environment is so welcoming and cool. It was exactly that I was looking for. I'm so glad to have this cool room in my neighborhood.

Loved the fish frit and the child-friendly atmosphere. The little ones explored while we had a delicious meal. Only the place we were looking for! Perfect space for a community. It takes a village!!!

An amazing atmosphere for everyone!! They have a couple of great play areas for kids and offer some fun activities for adults, like adult coloring books. I had the corned beef hash and it was dynamite!!Perfectly salted and flavored. I would highly recommend this place to everyone!!
