Silver Moon Diner - Middle River

The food arrived quite quickly, but that was the only highlight of the service. The waitress didn't offer to refill our drinks until we had finished our meal. The flavors in the food were lacking, though it was still passable. The desserts appeared tempting, but the lunch was so disappointing that we chose not to try them for fear of further disappointment. Additionally, the waitress never inquired if we were interested in desserts.

Classic old style diner with comfy booths and chrome everywhere. Food is great and the staff is friendly and competent. I had a side Greek salad with my chicken gyro, and the gyro was so big I could have made 2 meals out of it! Baked goods looked fantastic, but I'm watching my waistline: My honey had breakfast for dinner,and his 2 eggs looked like 3, the pile of bacon was huge and so was the waffle. All that with 2 beers ran about $38.00.

My visit at the Silver Moon Diner was great! 1. I chose the perfect time of day on a Saturday mid morning just before lunch. Nonetheless I had no delay in getting a table. The Hostess was friendly and likewise my waitress. Overall my service experience was great, but regarding the food, I gave it 4 stars because the home fries lacked flavor and were grilled (blackened-close to burned). Suggested to the Cashier-Hostess that they could use some seasonings and onions. My garden vegetable omelet with feta cheese was perfect and quite tasty!!! I will return. 5.20.23

I will NOT be returning here , me and my stepmom ordered the silver moon breakfast, i ordered scrambled eggs, home fries pancakes, with sausage, which i didn't eat the sausage and as u can see the scramble eggs was a complete turn off and the potatoes were burnt and dry , the manager did give us a discount but still paid the full price so where was the discount included in at. Secondly stop trying to get over just cause one or many like ur food don’t mean everyone is going to be satisfied, As customers we have rights too, we don’t have to pay for food that we didn't eat nor was just plain disgusting. I’m BLACK and the white lady walked out because she wasn't paying but we had to pay. If i could give zero stars i would. And the owner don’t even think about responding to my review i see what u said to all the other bad reviews. GOD BLESS YOU.

We have been going to this diner for many many years and last night was absolutely the last time we will walk in the door. It had nothing to do with the food and rather everything to do with the service. We called ahead as we were coming with a large group and when we arrived, there only three filled tables, so there was no issue and we were spread out around multiple tables in the restaurant. Enter the most disrespectful, rude and awful waiter I’ve ever encountered in my life. From the moment we sat down, he excused us of stealing and spoke to us like we were children. When we asked to speak to a supervisor he yelled at us and said that we could only deal with him. We should have just left then, but we had already settled in and decided to just eat our meal. One of our group ordered a salad and while waiting for it, someone else gave this member of our party her left over salad dressing so she’d know she’d have enough. Twenty minutes later, still no salad, when we inquired it about it this horrendous human being yelled at us that we were liars and she had already eaten her salad because she had a cup of salad dressing. We finally convinced this man that she did not get a salad, he brought her one and THREW IT AT HER. I will never subject myself or anyone I care about to this place ever again. The best thing this establishment could do is fire this man immediately.
