The White Horse Inn - Mid Suffolk

I want to commend the exceptional service provided by the staff at the White Horse on Friday, October 20th during the storm and its aftermath. Despite the road closures preventing me from getting accommodation, the staff ensured that everyone who was there was taken care of, allowing them to stay with their cars in the car park and providing food and drinks. Your efforts were truly outstanding. Thank you very much.

I cannot praise this restaurant and its fantastic staff enough. My motorhome group has stopped here a few times, but last night (20/10/23 during floods!) they went above and beyond for one of our drivers who was stranded in Suffolk due to the floods, as well as many other guests, even though they were experiencing a power outage. The staff did everything they could to help these customers, allowing them to run tabs and taking phone numbers due to the power cuts. They even offered indoor seating for those who only had their cars or vans to sleep in overnight. Additionally, I can attest that the food is amazing, both dinner and breakfast, and the staff were all polite, friendly, and professional. Well done!

Stayed 2 nights b b plus evening dinner. This hotel epitomises perfection from star to finish professional staff where nothing too much trouble to 5 food dinner and breakfast ! Again 5 for cleanliness and a lovely chalet room with all facilities . The prices exceptionally good and worth every penny what can’t others follow this standard you will only grow your business if you use this as a template!, Many thanks to management and staff for ensuring our stay was an exceptional one.! Fantastic food, great service and atmosphere as always. Lovely sunset over the shepherd’s huts as we left too.

We just had a family meal for my sons upcoming 21st Birthday! I cannot fault anything, the food was amazing and Peter was excellent, so friendly and efficient! We have been there a few times and thank you for everything, we will be back and hopefully stay in a Shepherds Hut too.
