The Globe Inn - Mid Devon

The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They even made room for our newborn, in case we had a pram. This is definitely my favorite restaurant to go to.

I was truly disappointed with my experience at The Globe restaurant. My burger was overcooked and greasy, and the chips were also overdone. It was a Sunday and the restaurant was extremely busy, with the kitchen staff seeming overwhelmed by the volume of orders. Unfortunately, this resulted in a negative dining experience for me. Additionally, I found it frustrating that I had to pay before our meal even arrived at the table, which I believe is not a good policy. Overall, I was upset and could not understand why the managers would allow such subpar food to be served. My experience at The Globe left me feeling very annoyed.

Located just off junction 27 of the M5, this pub is conveniently situated with ample parking. It's the perfect spot for a pit stop when traveling from Cornwall up north and back. This was our second visit and we will definitely be returning. We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, and our dog was well taken care of. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Group of 14 of us booked for dinner. Excellent communication leading up to the night and very flexible with alterations etc. Large portions of excellent food and sensible prices. We’re looking forward to a return trip. Thank you!

An inpromptu stop for lunch which was a fab find! Gorgeous food, generous portions, cozy location and lovely friendly staff.
