Cafe La Trova - Miami

This was absolutely incredible and I can’t recommend this place enough. We made a reso for our bachelorette and it was one of our favourite nights.

La Trova is touted to be amongst some of the best bars in the world. Made a quick booking and was able to get a table as it was a weekday. The ambiance was charming and Cuban. A Cuban band playing live was doing a great job and enjoyed the music. Ordered a Guava based drink with Gin and it was great. The menu was mostly Cuban fare and between us we ordered crab cakes, plainain fish, beans, cauliflower rice , some haloumi and shrimps. Food is very average but heard that the bar snack are available during happy hours and pretty good. Recommended for a great bar scene and average food.

I highly recommend Cafe La Trova. We were seated at a table right in front of the band, which was so fun! The music was wonderful, the food delicious and the service excellent. The energetic atmosphere was exactly what we hoped for.

What a fun and memorable night!!! I swear I thought I was in Cuba while dining there! La Trova is a gem of a restaurant with the best and most authentic Cuban vibe. The food is delicious, and the band is beyond talented. Every seat in the house is worth it, but make sure to secure seats near the stage for an up close and personal experience.

If you’re into everything good, this is the place! Good food, awarded cocktails and good atmosphere. Live band dancing! Remember to make reservations in advance, it’s packed! Also don’t forget to bring your ID ? I didn’t bring my passport that night and I wasn’t allowed to drink!Food: 5/5
