Fratelli La Bufala - Miami Beach

We arrived at 9:30 pm on a Sunday night and there was a line out the door. This is a small place where they ship mozzarella in from Italy twice a week and they really make the most of it. We ordered some mozzarella, ham, and wine to get started and they were all such high quality, I could have eaten just that all night. This is not the cheapest place, but it is SO WORTH IT in my opinion. This is high quality food made by people who obviously enjoy meals in the true Italian tradition. You're looking at $40-$50 for dinner and wine, but you can't even find food this quality in most other cities in the country. If you appreciate great food, GO!

I have something to say about this restaurant. The menu states that all the pizzas are made with Buffalo cheese, but in truth, only one pizza on the menu actually contains buffalo mozzarella. The rest of the pizzas are made with regular mozzarella cheese from the U.S. Piola Pizzeria is a better option because the owners and managers are honest and do not deceive their customers.

I was in Miami for the Antique Show. We visited Fratelli La Bufala on Monday. The owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The food and service were great! We enjoyed it so much we went back on Thursday night. We called ahead and they kept the restaurant open for us and made us feel very welcome, again the food was excellent. I had pizza both times. The mozzarella is great for apt. I'm going back to visit in January and I plan on making at least 1 trip to Fratelli La Bufala while I'm there. Not only was the food great we got an incredible service

We visited the restaurant last Saturday and enjoyed the delicious pasta and pizza. However, we decided to try the mozzarella and unfortunately, the Italian waitress with poor English seemed unfriendly and did not smile. She asked us if we wanted focaccia, which we later found out was charged on our bill. Additionally, we ordered three sodas but were only brought canned sodas without the option for refills.
