Casa Tua - Miami Beach

We are young women and saved for weeks to enjoy the ambience of this beautiful restaurant. The service was terrible and the food was not how we requested it. The manager was a total jerk. We ruined an evening which will be memorable as one of the worst nights out. We don't know if it was a discriminatory action against us or just bad service and management. In today's economically hard times they must have better service to survive. Hope this comment will educate them and improve the attitudes and service.

This has to be the worst of the worst places in Miami Beach. The waiter has no manners, is not educated and has the worst attitude towards people. He made my order wrong then said it was too late to do it again. He refused to take my birthday family picture. The valet people ignore you when you CALL THEM 3 TIMES. The bread guy looks at me when he knows perfectly well that I called him for more bread. My pasta tasted like lemon mixed with butter. I will never in my life return to this place. Burger King has much, I mean much, better service then this crappy, secluded, dark place. I mean I had to use a flashlight to see the menu. AWFUL! Very extremely disappointed!

This is one of the most pretentious restaurants I have ever been to. From the moment you leave your car with the valet, $20, you feel as if you are back in the 80's with money to burn. Everyone on the staff is so full of attitude. From the hostess to your wait staff. The portions are ridiculously small, and although good, does not justify the prices. Wake up people, the eighties are over. If you do not have a corporate credit card, avoid this place.

We had the displeasure of going to Casa Tua on July 7, 2007. After 2 years of being told this was a great place and we needed three weeks advance reservations, we were really looking forward to it. Beautiful place, but no calamari?? What are you doing with an Italian name??? We ordered a bottle of pinot grigio to go with our meal, yet we never got it. (Already messed up) and we did not bother to remind the waiter with the french accent... the fish was seasoned with salt nothing more. No one in my group was really happy with their meal... everything was about presentation. The food was way overpriced very tiny portions and all in all this place is way overrated... our friends, one which is a local limo driver for a classy company which only caters to the upscale was highly disappointed and will advise his clients about this overrated restaurant. We do not mind spending money, it is only money. However it has to be worth it and Casa Tua which turned out to be casa screw us, was definitely not worth it. By the way, we did not go there for romance, we went there for supposedly good Italian food and service....and received neither, nor...so nevermore.... also we suggest they change their name as it is Italian and there was nothing Italian about this place except maybe some very little decor. Until never.

The ambiance is warm and inviting, with food that is prepared to taste. Feels like you are at home while dining out. Highly recommended!
