Bidra med feedbackWe always enjoy the farmhouse. You have a large menu of home cooking favorites. The service is excellent and everyone always seems smiling. You can't go wrong with the burgers or the chicken fried steak, but HOLY COW the pork chops are excellent! We haven't tried the desserts, but they have a great choice. Maybe next time we save space.
Always so good! No complaints we all had seafood, they grilled and fried. The fried mushrooms are also delicious.
Our waitress was sweet and attentive. Food was hot and PLETIFUL!! ..but the Peach Cobbler was a joke!! I will be used to fill with top crust, filling to INCLUDE ACTUAL FRUIT.completed with a lower crust. What I received was like "Peach-Kompote over a thin 1/4 crust. I saw NO PEACHES..very runny..VERY DISAPPOINTING for the cost almost $5. When in the area again, we will eat there again, but WILL NIE order, so called Peach Cobbler again!!
Stopped in for a big family meal after a funeral nearby. Had the fried catfish and fried shrimp with fries, beans and Cole slaw. Cornmeal coated catfish was fresh, well cleaned (none of the gray fatty stuff) and hot. Could have been cooked just a little longer to get it crispy I think. The shrimp were battered and fresh. Batter needed to be thinned out a little. Fries were ok needed more time to get crispy. Think they were frozen bagged ones. Coleslaw was tasty. Beans were good too. Had 10 at our table and about 20 people in our party initially 15 or so more came about 45min later, but after we had already been served. Food service was fast and accurate. The waitstaff however was slow. They only assigned 1 waitress to the room. All in all a good place to go eat and spend time with friends and family.
Great portions. Had to take most of the food home. Had enough for a meal the next day! I had the blackend catfish, it was cooked perfectly and was delicious! We also ordered sampler, onion rings, fried pickles, and mozzarella sticks. Breading was awesome!
