Bidra med feedbackLovely people and cute kitties, didn't have a reservation so we didn't get to meet them because they were booked for the day. Not wheelchair accessible but if you can make it, you should. Queer friendly! We will be returning!Dietary restrictions: Had non-lactose options.Kid-friendliness: Safe space and warm atmosphere. Quiet music.
Not sure what happened to the cat cafe concept here... I just wanted to sit and have a nice foamy cappuccino while friendly cats came up to me for pets and playtime. At Purr Cup, you cannot sit anywhere, and you cannot access the cat room without a reservation. Only six people fit in the cat room, so the best you can do while waiting for bad, overpriced coffee (plant-based milk only!? is awkwardly try to glimpse the felines through a glass window, though you 're more likely to see people who booked the suggested *WEEK* in advance crawling around on the floor with feather teasers. While all of that is annoying, my biggest issue with this place is that if I was a cat here, I would not want to be trapped in a tiny room while six people came and cornered me for an hour at a time; I would want to wander over to people when I was ready and felt comfortable, and to rest and relax when I was tired or over-stimulated. My suggestion for Purr Cup would be to return to the traditional cat cafe concept: open up the space by knocking down walls, provide actual seating, provide actual milk options (the oat milk cappuccino was undrinkable , and nix the weird reservation system. This would allow the cats to direct the interactions, which is what feline lovers visiting a cat cafe want to see.
First time at the Cafe today and it was a great experience! Got a macchiato with oat milk and spent some time with the kitties. It was a fun, relaxing experience. The cats were very chill and seemed to enjoy interacting with the people. Its not the same cats every time. These cats are up for adoption and that's the point, to get them exposure and hopefully find a furr ever home! It's a great setup for a great cause I will be back!
One of the best coffees I have had in a very long time! I will definitely have to go back for more!Strongly recommend to stop by for coffee and to pet cats :
This cafe is a beautiful little spot that is a great example of community, and what fostering it can do. Delicious beverages, and atmosphere is cool. The cats are happy, and seem pretty stress free while they wait for their human to find them. The owners are genuinely kind, hard working folks who care. Please support this absolute gem gifted to Raleigh.
