Ike's Love Sandwiches - Mesa

Chaos. Disorganized. Unsanitary. Slow.This was our first time at Ike’s and we will not be going back. It appeared as though there was no manager on duty and if there was, maybe things would have ran smoother. We waited about 25 minutes for our sandwiches. I didn’t realize making sandwiches took that long. When I finally got mine, my cheese wasn’t melted all the way and it tasted like American Kraft yellow cheese. Then there was a woman who came in to pick up for a food delivery service and while waiting for the food, turns out her food was given to another family. After they opened up all of the sandwiches and realized it wasn’t theirs. Not a SINGLE worker didn’t anything about it, they didn’t even say “sorry, let me remake this for you.” They let her repack it up and leave with the order. Disgusting. Also I’m not sure where these workers were hired from but all they did was arguing in the back and sounded like they were horsing around. WE WILL NOT BE BACK. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

The sandwiches at Ike's are delicious! There are so many choices on the menu that it takes a while to choose (or you can create your own).The wait and atmosphere are not good, though. We waited 40 minutes for our food. The inside seating is sparse and pretty unattractive. Also, they are pricey. (I paid $22 for a sandwich 2 drinks). Nonetheless, the food is incredibly good. Next time, I will call in my order and eat at home.

I ordered a vegan sandwhich and got mozzarella sticks on my sandwhich for some reason? I didn’t know until I already ate it because it looked like the vegan chicken. That is digesting, I haven’t had animal products in years. There are people who have allergies…. Do not recommend this location at all , please please please do not go here if you have any dietary restrictions because my boyfriend had the same issue. Quite literally the best sandwich i’ve ever had. i got the vegan version of the “sometimes i’m a vegetarian” sandwich. they have a delightful array of vegan and vegetarian options.Food: 5/5

Placed order for sandwich with double meat an no sauce. It had sauce no extra meat so I had to try to scrape it all off. Called them and best they can do is a free sandwich next time I come in. I just had surgery and can’t walk for a month. Not very accommodating plus I had to throw half the sandwich away because I couldn’t get all the sauce off. I had to place an order from another restaurant so won’t be back anytime soon.
