Land Ocean Meridian

We had a wonderful dining experience at the Meridian location. Our food was delicious and prepared how we requested. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. Our server, Enoch, provided exceptional service! We will definitely be back!

I wanted to love this place. The inside is beautiful and it could be something special- my favorite places instead are Barbacoa, Owyhee Tavern, and Jakers (the food is delicious and Happy hour drinks are great with great prices). Went to Land Ocean for brunch because their menu and photos online looked great. The restaurant was maybe only 40% full and the service was incredibly slow both for food and drinks. We have 8 people there and a few of us asked to try the mango hollandaise before we ordered the crab cakes Benedict because it sounded odd. We all thought it was terrible so glad we asked to try. A couple of us got our food and it was cold. When asked to get it heated up it took about 15 minutes to get food back and it was cold again. I didn’t complain a second time as everyone else was almost done with their meal. The place has so much potential but you just aren’t going to be busy like those other popular restaurants if you’re service is that incredibly slow and you have a hard time getting food to the tables while it’s hot. Also before we decided on trying this place I had 3 people tell me that it’s just “ok”. I was shocked because it looks so high end and their menu looked so good. I think new management could really make a huge difference.

Both the food and the service was top notch, Brie was friendly and attentive, helped us select our entres and appetizers, and mad sure we wanted for nothing during our meal. I 'm always a little hesitant to dine in places that exist amongst the sea of chain restaurants and strip malls like Eagle road but Land Ocean is an oasis, real food served by real people in a very comfortable atmosphere. The worst part of our meal was that we all expected more of a crust on the banana cream pie.

Food is meh, service is good. Would come back. Menu is slim need better options considering this is land and ocean figured the fish would be better and it 's mediocre frozen fish sticks........
