Bidra med feedbackWhen you come to merida, come here. I try every time I do. I love eating and I love the atmosphere. the mariachis are also wonderful. I'm not sure what the court I added is, but it was amazing! the buffet has so much to do that you cannot go wrong with it.
While we stay at the hotel, we discovered this wonderful restaurant. each morning they have an breakfast buffet with eggs, fruit, fresh juices and pastries and local Yucatan foods such as pibil, all included. there is even a woman who makes tortillas all morning....The workers in this restaurant were as professional and attentive as anyone I have experienced. the breakfast is about $8! we also tried Sunday brunch, and it was also extraordinary.
We are often in merida and when we are there we have a special Sunday breakfast in castellano’s. it is an exceptional buffet! the chef has a talented staff he has trained to offer a great selection of cleverly prepared and presented foods. everything. choose them from cochinita pibil (pork with maya seasoning, packed in banana leaves and slowly cooked, lechon al horno (oven baked pork, pavo relleno negro (turkey in a mild black Chile sauce, eggs to order, seafood paella, and many other choices together with a great fertile, bäckque (the boulas de pibil). all this and they have a really great Trova trio that plays regional music while they overeat. what could be better? actually it could be cheaper, but at about $11,50 it is about half or less than they would pay for a comparable meal in the usa. if you could find a place that serves such a meal. (I think they serve the breakfast every day, but we're just going there on Sundays.

We tried the Sunday brunch as well, and it was exceptional as well.
Ресторан El Castellano располагается в одноименном отеле, где мы останавливались в Мериде. Ресторан очень интересно оформлен, с росписями на стенах в колониальном стиле. Еда была разнообразной, много было блюд национальной кухни с широким выбором напитков.
