Food was okay on previous visit. . Had reservation at 7 and told despite having a reservation, we could not be seated for 2 hours. Not sure why they would take reservations if they have no intensional if honoring them

Went to Big Woods in West Lafayette for the first time today (10/20/21). Loved the ambience and the wood furniture. My wife and I ordered the Big Woods Chicken and the Maple Bourbon Chicken. After the first bite we realized that the chicken, bacon and bun were all burnt. Showed the meal to our hostess who took it back to the kitchen and returned later with our new meal. Actually it was the same burnt/seared chicken on a different bun. Meal still tasted of charcoal. I didn't finish my sandwich.....enjoyed the fries, though. Hostess apologized again but we still paid full price for the meal. Not impressed at all
