Home Slice Pizza - Mercer

I walked into the restaurant and the staff member at the register didn't greet me; she just stood there looking away while I placed my order. They don't serve drinks, so I had to head over to the bar next to Home Slice Pizza for that. I ordered ten Buffalo wings, but they looked more like baby wings. The pizza didn’t impress me at all; I found nothing remarkable about it. I ended up having to get my own takeout box because the cook was lounging on the couch, playing on his phone, and I couldn't find the staff member anywhere.

The best pizza I've had in years! This hidden gem will impress you with its variety, fantastic crust, delicious toppings, and friendly service. If you don't enjoy it, then I’m afraid you have questionable taste and might want to reconsider your choices. No offense—just keeping it real!

This has become one of our go-to spots when we're in Mercer. The vegetable pizza with sausage is exceptional—packed with toppings and bursting with flavor. The monthly specialty pizzas add an exciting twist. It’s a wonderful addition to our town!

When we arrived to pick up the pizza, there were no COVID precautions in place; neither the staff nor the customers were wearing masks or gloves, and there was no attempt at social distancing. Overall, the customer service was poor, and no efforts were made to resolve our order issue. Given that we spent $30 for just one pizza and one order of cheese bread, we definitely won’t be returning.

I enjoyed a hand-tossed pizza that was both hot and flavorful. It's a great addition to the dining options in Mercer. Additionally, the homemade cookies are absolutely delicious!
