Bakers Square - Mentor

We used to love coming to this restaurant and tried it out again after the change recently. We had to wait to be seated which was fine but I would have expected someone to be at the hostess stand quicker than they arrived. Once seated, we had 3 different waitresses before we even got our food. We asked for mushroom to be removed from the skillet my husband ordered and when it arrived, it of course had mushrooms. There was no way to remove them as they were incorporated into the skillet already. It took a long time before we could find anyone to help us and by the time my husband got his skillet remade, the rest of us were over halfway done with our breakfast. When they brought it back, they forgot to put the gravy on the skillet. Cue trying to find someone again to help with that. Another waitress trying to be helpful brought us a plate thinking that’s what we were talking about. After all of this… nobody even offered to comp the dish. Barely an apology. Oh and they put the bananas IN my daughters pancakes instead of on the side. Luckily she agreed to eat them. That was the least of my issue by the end of this meal. We won’t be returning to this restaurant. We will take our business elsewhere.

Not worth the money! Weak, over $3 coffee .McDonald's is better! Plain unseasoned egg and sausage crepes! No cheese or sides! No fruit garnish or potatoes and over $11! Go to local breakfast places, way better than these chains!!

I like the remodeled dining room. I don't like the shortened menu and they took off some of the popular items like the chicken stir fry pita.

Not the old Bakers Square but still nice. Very bright and clean inside.

Frequent weekly regulars on weekends. Cheeseburger, fries, side salad and chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, cornbread muffin with butter, side salad. Always room for pie. Strawberry Rhubarb is sweet and delicious. Lemon meringue pie, key lime pie, triple berry pie, Lemon Supreme pie, coconut cream, low sugar apple pie, peach lattice, pecan caramel supreme. We enjoy the friendly staff that work hard to ensure a great dining experience. They always do their best and if there is any issue, just let them know. Pumpkin spice pancakes that had a runny batter back in October 2023. I know they are remodeling at this moment until June 1, 2024. If you look for a variety, dietary needs, or just want a hot drink and pie, stop by at Baker Square. Not sure why people would order DoorDash breakfast expecting hot chocolate and eggs! Common sense and it's not the establishment's fault. 5/5 stars for friendliest hardworking employees. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options and many other non meat selections. Dietary restrictions: Many options and if dietary restrictions apply, make staff aware when placing order. Parking: Large parking lot with handicap parking. Kid-friendliness: Kid menus and crayons, high chairs in restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, wheelchair accessible and also accessible for other physical limitations such as walkers or canes.
