Bidra med feedbackIt was a sad day when Chef Rosie closed Provechos. We wish her all the best! Unfortunately, the new restaurant in that same space does not measure up.
The service and the owner were excellent! I couldn't be happier with that aspect of my visit. The restaurant was quite busy, but I found the food to be just average. While it was good, it didn't have the authentic Mexican seasoning I was hoping for. The salsa and chips were fresh, but they lacked the heat I enjoy. I'm open to returning to try brunch since, as I mentioned, the owners were fantastic. This is just my personal take; the place has many reviews, and I can understand why— the owner often comes out to chat with guests, and his wife does the cooking. They are wonderful people! The atmosphere was quite loud, so my family and I chose to sit outside for dinner, which had a lively vibe. I don't want to penalize them too much because, honestly, the drinks were great, and the customer service was outstanding.
The best Chile Rellenos I've ever had!!!!! I'm so sorry to see them go.
I'm really saddened to hear the news. This was such a fantastic restaurant with delicious food, great drinks, and wonderful music. It was our regular Friday night spot, and Rosie was simply amazing. We're so glad to have met her; we've been fans of hers for a long time. Wishing all the best to everyone involved, and I hope PROVECHO makes a comeback!
