Stopped with the kids on our way home with the boat to grab dinner to-go. Walked into the restaurant at 7:40pm, directly to the ‘Order Here’ counter to place our order, website signs on door say lobby open until 8pm, drive-thru open until 10pm but we had the boat and would not fit. There was 1 car in the drive-thru, 3 people in the dining room eating, 2 gentlemen waiting for their orders and only us standing at the counter to place our order. After waiting 14 minutes twice that 1 of 3 employees working walked to the front counter with the waiting gentlemen’s orders, he looked directly at us both times, turned and walked away without saying anything and not taking our order, so we walked out. As we walked back across the street to our truck and trailer parked in Love’s outlot, we noticed none of the exterior lights or the sign were illuminated. Not sure if this is your employee’s way of getting to go home early or if they are just too lazy, but It will now be after my kids’ bedtime when we get to the next exit at Rochelle to stop for dinner! Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service!! I will not ever stop here again and from other reviews of this restaurant, we aren’t the only patron to complain of slow service at this restaurant.
