Bidra med feedbackGood extensive lunch menu, including several roast dinners to choose from. Roast beef with yorkshires the rest, very nice. Could have maybe had a bit more beef but otherwise great. Staff very friendly too.
Found this fab place whilst staying at nearby b&b . Went for drinks and food few times. Best pub food I ever had .Owners so friendly and welcoming.
We were dodging a cycle race and found this delightful road side pub. The menus included simple bar menu, tapas, more substantial options and then a specials board that included tomohawk steaks and confit duck! It was lunch time so we only chose the bar menu, but the food was freshly cooked real chips {I watched a young man struggle in with a bag of spuds) and an excellent salad. A little gem not to be overlooked.
Arrived in the area late afternoon for a week's holiday. The accommodation Guest Information book suggested The Westbury Inn. We had driven a fair distance so wanted something local. Warm welcome and attentive staff, the pub is a typical old English country pub. We tried two of the dishes on offer, Haddock and chips and Duck. All the food we had was well cooked and extremely enjoyable. My only slight negative might be that it is reasonably expensive but definitely a very pleasant place.
Amazing food and service. Lovely local pub warm welcome with friendly staff. Food was 10 out if 10.highly recommend visiting the best lamb dish I have ever had would love to visit again if in area.
