Wasabi Sushi Asian Fusion - Memphis

I really wanted this to be a good experience, not so much. The sushi had very little taste, even the valcano and the rice hard. I was looking for something special,

I ordered a new sushi roll and it was unedible. I asked to order something else and management was not willing to work with me. They just lost a customer! Although I hate to give them any more money I will not punish the server by not giving her a tip. Manager wouldn't even come to speak to me, and it wasn't this servers fault. This Memphis roll is GROSS!

Small cuts. More like a Krystal Burgers fast food. We dined in and they said they were out of fish when we tried add a 3rd order. At our usual sushi restaurant we spend at least $180 on dinner. Schezuan is the place to go in Memphis for fresh sushi.

Still my favorite restaurant after all these years since I was introduced by a friend in Wasabi. A small but very peaceful environment with very friendly staff. Let the food die. I recommend tuna and mangosalate, clear soup and chicken Hibachi. The holiday roll is an absolute must! I swear I have dreams of this role. Go once and you will be regular!

Always consistent. In a time of staffing shortages and inconsistent orders that get things wrong from time to time, this place has never let us down as a neighborhood go-to. We’ve only eaten inside once or twice but done a dozen or so takeouts and highly recommend their sushi and consistent service.
