Pearl's Oyster House - Memphis

Staff didn't know where the oysters were from, maybe only one kind. Which is a problem for a place with Oyster in the name. They were good but expected much more. Really limited raw menu. Good location to sit at the front window and watch the folks stroll by.

Pearl’s Oyster House — **** — this is good! A great start to our day in Memphis

Our waitress was on point. She was attentive and sweet. We had the gator bites, BBQ shrimp, and blackened catfish. I will say that I don't think I'll have the shrimp again but that is just because it's nit my preference for how I want my shrimp cooked/seasoned. The catfish was a tad bit over seasoned was it was tender, delicate, and juicy. My fried spinach over mashed potatoes with my shrimp was different and great.

Horrible service and poor food quality. Strongly do not recommend.

Came in town for the experience. The waitress sat us after a couple minutes telling us 'I 'm not sure where y 'all waitress is. After 15 minutes the waitress that sat us walked passed us several times without even asking us if we wanted something to drink or giving us an update on waitress. We ended up leaving. The place was not crowded at all. Disappointed.
