Jack Pirtle's Chicken - Memphis

Definitely not what it used to be. Ordered 2 steak sandwiches and 2 large fries. Got home to find out no fries in the bag, my fault for not looking. Attempted to eat the first steak which was tough and the gravy tasted like pure salt and pepper. Triedthe second sandwich which was the same. Spent $21 and still had to go somewhere to get an edible lunch.

Service, food and prices are and we're great. I loved the seasoning of the livers and the chicken. Plan to go again.

No complaints over here, my wife and I have moved to NC and cane back in town on business(last week). Stop by the same restaurant and didn't disappoint. Got the same meal and same drink, mind you.....haven't been here in 4yrs and come back....andit's like I never left. When I'm back in Memphis, once again will stop by here again.

Great food but poor customer service... while in drive-thru waited 10 min at the intercom with no type of acknowledgement that we were there... even after saying hello a couple of times just to make it known we are there... another time while at thewindow the customer service wasn 't warm or welcoming as if they were bothered etc.

I hadn't eaten Jack Pirtle chicken in quite a while. The line was long but it's always been long. The batter on the chicken was different which made the chicken not taste as good. The gravy was still delicious. It will probably be a while before I return.
