Huey's Poplar - Memphis

Tonight I ordered takeout. After waiting nearly an hour I was given a raw burger patty with cold cheese on top. It couldn’t have touched the grill for more than 30 seconds. Completely raw all the way through from the first bite.

I have been to this restaurant twice this month and both times the experience was disappointing. I ordered a smokey burger with fries, but my burger was burnt and the fries were also overcooked. The taste was very unpleasant. I will not be returning to this restaurant. I had hoped to enjoy a meal after finishing my work shift, but unfortunately, it was a waste of money.

I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant! It was my first time in Memphis and it was the only place open after midnight. The atmosphere was fantastic, with soothing music playing and a diverse crowd of all ages. The servers were very attentive and friendly. It seems like a popular spot among locals, which is always a good sign. The portions of food were huge and the prices were affordable. The only downside was the automatic 18% gratuity added after 9 o'clock. Despite that, I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant again whenever I'm in Memphis.

I had heard that this restaurant had the best burgers in the city, so I decided to give them a try. However, the fried shrimp caught my attention and I couldn't resist ordering them. I would definitely recommend Huey's to my customers. I enjoy trying out different restaurants so that I can offer a variety of options to my customers.

Great food, great service, great music, great atmosphere. one of the best places I've had for years. I ate a huey hamburger and string tweak; the hamburger was so good I ordered a philly steak cheese sandwich and steak frets to go for later. most go space; must go and be ready to be satisfied. good 20 minutes waiting.
