Mamma Mia Pizza - Melbourne

Why so many good reviews ?We had a pizza and some pastas. Pizza was ok but really not that great and the pastas were overcooked and not good. My wife couldn't finish her plate and it was a small portion. Definitely not going back there.

I have been a customer of this pizza / pasta restaurant since the mid 1970's - consistent quality has kept them in business and has also kept MY patronage. Usually a delivery order these days and always prompt and fresh on arrival.

My partner and I eat here at least once a month with two other couples. The food is delicious. I am GF so I can have pizza for my dietary requirements. Wine is also BYO.

Visit Mamma Mia's each time I visit Melbourne. Just great food and wonderful service. It's always busy and you need to make reservations. You can watch pizza being made while waiting for your dinner......love how the dough is tossed AND caught. We all had main courses as the desserts are good too. Menu is extensive and not expensive......fresh ingredients. BYO and the corkage charge is reasonable too. Highly recommended!

Love this place. They make some very delicious pizza. I never order pizza from Dominos though it is cheaper
