Fossette Cafe & Food - Melbourne

Stopped in here for a coffee late one afternoon. Staff are friendly and coffee is good quality and well made. I have not eaten here but it does seem quite busy most weekends.

As promised I went back for breakfast with a friend & my dog. As I commented last time they try very hard. This time we had a great meal the waitress was lovely and even the owner wandered by. Our coffee was great one of us had the toastie and I had a vegetarian based brekkie with eggs it was yum! Well done to Fossette!

Hard to be negative here, it's nice inside very clean with attentive staff. As usual I am travelling with the dog so it's a very comfortable bench & table outside by the busy & noisy road. Coffee was not bad but not hot enough.Only had a toasty which was fine but under toasted ( cheese not melted ) so again not quite warm enough to enjoy as much as I could have.Will try them next time for breakfast to see if it's any better. So in conclusion nothing bad but not as good as they could be.

We had brunch with friends and it was great. We all had variations on poached eggs with various fixings. The eggs were perfect and every element had nice touches to bring out the very best flavours, from the slow roasted tomatoes, to the delicate little mushrooms with a hint of fresh herbs.Coffees are excellent, and the milkshakes are superb.We're so glad this place has opened up and we will become firm regulars.

Located at 737 Heidelberg Rd in Alphington, VIC 3078, this cute cafe has attentive service and friendly staff. They serve great coffee, wood-fired oven pizzas, and offer fantastic food and drink specials like rustic bread toasties with coffee for $9. The only drawback is that they close at 2.30pm, so make sure to stop by and experience a little taste of Italy before then.
