540 on Barkly - Melbourne

Pleasant staff who were very attentive. Entree was a very generous serve and delicious. Main of steak, bacon, mushroom pie with roast veg everything I hoped for. Loved the Two Birds Golden Ale. Hope they do really well.

A nice little modern pub on Barkly. The menu offers great choice, definitely try the meatballs and calamari. A few different types of beer on offer such as Sunshine and Footscray. Upstairs seems to get really noisy with the downstairs area much quieter and better suited for small groups or couples.

Great little restaurant/bar in West Footscray. Nice beers on tap, good menu and attentive service. Good kids meal options at very reasonable prices. Had a great time here with the all the family on Mothers Day!

Been here a couple of times and each time we say we should come more. Service is friendly and also faster than other similar local eateries which is great.The beetroot risotto and chicken and mushroom risotto were full of flavour and those that had steak (we were there on Tuesday steak night) thought it well cooked and of good value.

Found this place somewhat by chance (proximity to location and the help of Google). The place is beautifully renovated, with a chic, laid back atmosphere. Great blues music played at a volume that still allowed for conversation without the need to yell. Absolute outstanding food, service and locally made beers. Will definitely be back! Thanks Simon.
