Main Street Grill - Medina

We stopped in tonight for the first time. I'll start by saying this will be an honest review! We had excellent service by a young gentleman (forgive us, we couldn't recall his name! . We started with fried pickles which were great! For entrees I got the salmon w/ asparagus. The salmon was great size and the sauce was good but just a generic sweet and spicy asian sauce like you would buy from Wal-Mart. The asparagus was pretty bland and the ends weren't snapped. The ends are tough and fibrous- I just cut them off. My husband got the porkchops w/ mac -n- cheese and onion rings. He said the porkchops were good and tender and portion sizing was more than enough. The onion rings were also delicious and we think they were hand breaded. The mac -n- cheese was highly disappointing and looked like Kraft from a box and tasted like it as well. Overall we would go back every once in a while but not sure if it would be our first choice.

This is not the first time I’ve not gotten what I ordered when I get home. I expect that from McDonalds. But tonight was the worst. A medium rare steak IS NOT raw. And the ribeye itself was so stringy that I ended up tossing it. We didn’t get our Texas Toast either. I called and they have new cooks. Well perhaps more training is needed. So I literally just paid $20 for a small amount of broccoli. Lesson learned
