Bidra med feedbackKeep in mind that this is not exactly a typical restaurant; you'll be dining with other Isha guests in a buffet-style setting. If you’re traveling through the area, it's by far the best option for vegetarian-friendly meals for many miles. And the food is fantastic! It's 100% vegetarian, mostly vegan, with dishes that are predominantly influenced by Indian cuisine, offering a great mix of boiled and raw foods. If you’ve ever eaten at a Govinda restaurant, it’s similar but even better. Meals are served at specific times that may vary daily, depending on the programs happening at Isha, so it’s a good idea to call ahead to confirm when you can eat. Also, keep in mind that there is no cell service at Isha, as the area is quite rural, so plan accordingly. They operate on Central Time, so remember this if you’re coming from Chattanooga. The food alone is worth the visit, but while you're there, be sure to take a tour of the Isha Gardens and learn more about their introductory programs. It’s a fantastic organization offering substantial courses that are accessible to everyone, non-denominational, and designed to encourage individuals to continue their practices at home.
I only discovered how delicious vegetables can be after dining at the Isha Institute of Inner-Sciences. The diverse and flavorful foods served here twice a day are truly addictive. Eating here is not just a treat for the taste buds; it's also a nourishing experience. Pranic eating, which provides positive energy to the body, makes every meal special. Additionally, the stunning surroundings—complete with waterfalls, cliffs, and hiking trails—make this place even more appealing to visit.
