Sotiria Authentic Greek Food - McKinney

My husband and I have been on a search for the perfect Greek restaurant and we finally have found it! Sotiria!!!! The food was all hand made, fresh and delicious! The Moussaka is to die for, btw! We loved the dolmades, Greek salad, orange cake andbaklava, too. If you have read any of these reviews for Sotiria Authentic Greek Cuisine, you will consistently see that theowners (and cooks) Sotiria and Nickolas are the kindest people you would ever want to meet. They make you feel like familycoming into their home. I can't remember a time or place in the last decade where we received this kind of top notch serviceand care. All of the food is Sotiria's personal Greek recipes. She and her loving husband, Nickolas create each dish byhand....nothing from a can or package served at this restaurant. I can hardly wait until our next visit! Thank you Sotiria andNickolas for taking such good care of us and treating us with your WONDERFUL, authentic Greek food! We look forward to seeingyou again!

Loved Sotiria! Food was outstanding, restaurant spotless, most importantly, the excellent service! Sotiria and Nicholas were the sweetest couple and they could cook! Eating here was like eating at home and getting spoiled by loving parents. Don'tforget to park at the reserved spot. You would be greeted with an open door. Highly recommend.

Just what I wanted for a tasty, quick lunch. The owner waited on us and was so friendly! We were graced with a small serving of her luscious orange cake to close out the meal, and I could have devoured a few more pieces. I will definitely be coming back again, when I am in the area.

Delicious authentic Greek food. Family owned business. Prompt friendly service. Super clean restaurant. Refreshing Greek decor. We ordered 2 gyro plates and 1 Greek salad. There was tons of food, enough for 4 people. Delicious. The Greek salad came with a HUGE slab of feta. Great portions. Not inexpensive but they give you lots of food. Highly recommend.

Went here on a cold, cloudy, Sunday afternoon.... And it was the warmest family dinner we'd had in a while. We love Greek food, and this was authentic. No frills, nothing fancy, but with a very distinct home-made taste. Simple, hearty, oh-so-satisfying. Prices that are fair, and service that is as close to your Grandmas kitchen as you could ask for. Sotiria herself was there, along with her husband and sweet granddaughter. They conversed with us as if we were in their own home. We got the Greek salad...most generous portion of feta ever, the saganaki, the lamb plate, and warm dolmas. And they treated us to orange cake. Everything was beyond delicious. I'm almost hesitant to share this because I'd love for this special place to remain our little secret, but Sotiria and her family were so kind, I also want the community to know what a jewel they have.
