Pepe's Tacos Y Mas - McKinney

After we placed our orders, the chef came out from the kitchen to greet us and surprised us with a sample of a new dish they plan to offer. It was amazing! He spent a few minutes chatting with us and was incredibly friendly. When our entrees arrived, we were delighted to find they were just as delicious as the starters. Overall, we are definitely open to returning to this restaurant. If they could update the menu, improve cleanliness, and ensure the restrooms are well-stocked, I would easily rate them a 5 out of 5, especially considering how wonderful our server was—she took excellent care of us!

The owners are wonderful! They’re just getting started, and it’s crucial for us to support them. They are truly dedicated to offering excellent service and tasty food. My wife and I especially loved the churros with dulce de leche!

This is an excellent place for genuine tacos, rice, and beans! The tacos were quite large, and the queso was nothing short of amazing. Don’t miss out on the margaritas either! I will certainly be returning!

Okay service, but GREAT food. The atmosphere was good, but the table we sat at was a little cramped. We had a large group though, so I couldn't be mad. My table got Flautis, Quesadillas, Beef Tostadas, and a couple combo plates. Everyone loved what they got, especially the fish taco and everything that involved their steak. It is soooo tender. They have good salsa, good queso, good churros all around solid mexican comfort food. The owners were super nice too. We always love to support a locally owned restaurant, and while the service is still learning a little bit 3 months after opening, the food is really good. I took pictures of the menu so people can feel motivated to come give them some love. While the parking lot always looks full, the restaurant itself isn't, so don't shy away.

My husband and I tried Pepe’s Taco’s y Mas this evening for the first time and we both agreed that this is going to be our new spot for good Mexican food and drinks!!! The restaurant is very clean and decorated so beautifully. The food was so awesome. I had the chicken fajitas and my husband had the barbocoa and beef enchiladas. We had several staff members that checked on us throughout our meal. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The owner and his wife were absolutely a joy. The owner actually sat with us and talked to my husband about their favorite seafood adventures and so forth. He was a very genuine man. My husband tried the Vodka Martini for the first time and now that will be his new go-to drink when we go there. We had a very nice experience and our only regret is not checking this place out sooner!!!! To our surprise, there was also live music!! We will definitely be back (often!
