El Vallarta - McKenzie

It's okay...im not writing to california about this one. My waitress was alright.

I've been eating here for years and was used to a good quality standard of their food but over the years the quality has dropped. The cheese dip is way too watered down. I still pick this restaurant over the the other option but they need to reassess the quality of their food.

The food was great and the portions were big. Plenty left over for the next day for me (I had the shrimp and pineapple burrito). The only complaint we had was that our table was very wobbly. My husband had to sit with his foot on the leg the entire time so our drinks wouldn't spill when we were cutting our food.

There are two Mexican restaurants in McKenzie, and my fiancé and I always opt for El Val over Maria's. The food is better, the prices are more reasonable, and our meals are served quickly. We really appreciate the friendly staff as well! Plus, the Sunday lunch buffet is a great added bonus!

At best, it was mediocre. It doesn't hold a candle to El Vallarta in Paris!
