The Grill - McCordsville

Well, I must say after this experience, I won't be going back. It's unfortunate it really is. During Covid I ate at this place literally everyday. The food was so delicious, hot and garnished, I always felt like a part of the family eating here.. I just went on a lunch date today 9/30 and it was completely different from what it used to be. The mozzarella sticks weren't good, and neither was the marinara sauce. The sauce used to be sweet and thick and dark, now it tastes like your simple untouched tomatoe sauce from a can. I also ordered the tenderloin sandwich. The breading was bland, I mean zero taste. Very disappointed bc that was my absolute favorite thing to order from here. The fries went from thick cut steak fries to she string fries. I'm not sure what happened honestly. Maybe new owners. The best thing about my experience was my date and my strawberry lemonade. First time here and I am very impressed. My experience is so good that I am sitting here writing this review. I had the fish and chips and the portions were huge and the taste phenomenal. I am with a big group and everyone is impressed. The manager here definitely knows how to run a restaurant. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Interesting spot, family friendly, bar, tv wall to wall, and very attentive staff. I had 3+ people outside of my waitress ask me if everything is okay. Very friendly. Food was really good, I want to call It high end bar food but it’s beyond that. The menu is very large, but has everything from healthy options, large salads, steak, ribs, Italian and burgers. Large menu and everything I’ve ordered is tasty. Great service and nice family friendly atmosphere. Couldn’t ask for a better local home town restaurant.
