El Vaquero - Mattoon

This place is AMAZING. I'm just so so on Mexican food but I try to get in hear at least once a week. Whlole staff works together to make sure everyone is taken care of. Needs 10+ stars

Typical sit down Mexican restaurant. Food and service were very good. I had chicken on the beach which I rarely order but it was very good. Nothing unique to brag about but a good dining experience. Service was excellent.

Excellent food and service. Their food is very flavorful and well seasoned. I absolutely LOVE the cheese steak. Literally the best tasting steak I’ve had.

My husband and I visited from out of state, and this was one of our favorite eateries. The food ample, so we had leftovers, and the customer service, excellent.I would recommend to use an unscented sanitizing agent because Lysol isn't good for our lungs.
