I absolutely loved it, the food was delicious and you get so much for the price!

The server was lovely and knowledgeable about vegan options. We ordered the "vegetarian" set menu but were able to have it made vegan. The curry was delicious, a fusion of Nepalese and South Asian flavors. We highly recommend it.

When you first step into the restaurant, the lively chatter of the crowd sets the stage for the amazing flavors you are about to experience. We ordered the Dahl Curry, spinach and potato curry which had a wonderfully smooth and creamy texture, and the roasted garlic rice that had an outstanding taste. The service was friendly and attentive, with the waitress making sure our vegan order was communicated to the chef. Overall, our meals were absolutely delicious and we highly recommend this restaurant.

Had a suspicion this place would be fantastic as our eyes were watering from the spice in the air as we awaited our meals. We were not disappointed! As with most Indian/Nepalese places there’s usually an abundance of items we can eat straight off the menu, plus the boss man has a good grasp of English so understood the term “vegan”. We got a Dahl and an Okura and Potato curry with garlic rice and cumin rice. Words don’t do it justice, I’m a curry smashing machine and am always hunting them out all over the planet.....and these dishes were very unique and just plain delicious, the garlic rice is good enough to have as a stand alone dish I believe. Great friendly atmosphere from the staff and very very affordable. Clean and very fresh. Across the road from the station. Do yourself a favour and get into this place if ever you find yourself in lovely Matsumoto.
